Coming from the traditional craft village, Thanh Ha Fishery and Fish Sauce Processing Co., Ltd (formerly known as C3B fish sauce processing establishment) has a history of hundreds of years, going up from business production households of the Nguyen family since 1918. Being produced in Phu Quoc island district, Thanh Ha fish sauce has so far complied with the traditional technological process.
Although produced by traditional technology, Phu Quoc Thanh Ha fish sauce is always ensured to comply with the strictest Food Safety Standards in the world. In 1998, Thanh Ha was one of the first two fish sauce production installations in the country licensed by the Vietnamese Ministry of Fisheries to export to Europe with EU code 078 DL 139 (now changed to NM139). Since then, the production process of Thanh Ha has always been tested and quality controlled according to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critial Control Point) and QMP (Quality Management Program). Thanh Ha fish sauce has been also achieved the prestigious BRC (British Retailer Consortium) certification from the British Retailers Association since 2016.
