Sungwon Button Company is leading buttons manufacturer company which is exporting plastic buttons, clothing buttons, Imitation Shell Button, faux horn buttons, natural genuine shell buttons (agoya, trochus, mussel, abalone, MOP), laser engraved buttons, natural buttons, covered buttons, elastic band, metal button, eyelet and plastic adjuster in Korea and in Indonesia. Sungwon Button Company was established in May 1982 in Hanam, a city just east of Seoul, South Korea. The company is comprised of a 825-square-meter factory situated on a 2,310-square-meter plot of land. The company has grown substantially since its initial establishment and now also operates a store in Donghwa Market in Seoul.

In September 2001, Sungwon Button Company expanded its operations after receiving foreign investment approval to set up a branch in Jakarta, Indonesia. The new factory located in Jakarta is situated on a 2,000-square-meter plot. In October 2005, the company raised its daily output from 800,000 to 1,800,000 pieces and began delivering regular shipments to the Indonesian Needlework Company.

The Indonesian branch of the Sungwon Button Company maintains the same high quality standards of the Korean branch. The company boasts 18 Italian GIUSI button surface manufacturing machines and uses 34 machines in total to process 1,000,000 to 1,5000,000 buttons daily.
