Nicotex Corporation, which was formerly known as Nicotex Pesticide Factory, was established on October 13, 1990. Nicotex was founded in commemoration of the August Revolution, Vietnam National Day September 2 and Thai Binh Province 100-year anniversary. Founded in Thai Binh and understanding the working environment of farmers, Nicotex created the slogan “farmers’ excellent crops , Nicotex’s desire”, this is the guideline for all actions of employees throughout the company.

After 26 years, Nicotex company has achieved results that not all companies have: the position in pesticides market, Nicotex brand has been widely recognized thanks to the consensus and great efforts of all employees. Besides, the company is also backed by great support of military chiefs from The Military Region 3 Command, the General Administration of Customs and the General Department of Logistics. As a military company under different management levels: Military Region 3 Command (T8 / 1993 – T8 / 1995); General Department of Science and Technology (T9 / 1995 – T5 / 2000); General Department of Logistics (6/2000 – 6/2003) and with the Party and State’s policies accelerating and speeding up the equitization of state-owned enterprises, Nicotex is the pioneer of the General Department of Logistics – Ministry of Defense in piloting equitization. 6 July 2003 was a new milestone of Nicotex when it was given a new name: “Nicotex Joint Stock Company”, NICOTEX Joint Stock Company No 114 – Vu Xuan Thieu – Long Bien – Ha Noi
