Gratia Husada Farma or better known as HUFA, was established on March 30, 1974, located in Semarang 50134, Central Java, by shareholders (Founders) consisting of: Lisawati Darma Setiawan, Mariani Kusuma, Drs. Harada Kusuma, Drs. Hartanto Tedja Kusuma, Andreas Sastradinata Kusuma, Leontine Kosasih, and FX. Budi Hartono Kusuma.
Along with the development and growth of the Company so that it requires complete and adequate facilities, so in 1993, PT. Gratia Husada Farma built a new factory on a land area of 20,000 m2, located on Jl. Dharmawangsa 28, Ngempon Village, Bergas, Karangjati, Semarang Regency 50552.
On April 8, 1994, PT Gratia Husada Farma obtained CPOB (Good Manufacturing Practices) certification, which indicates that the building, production facilities and production have met the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
