AV Labeling Solutions (AV) is currently operating in both Singapore and Malaysia. It was formerly registered under the name of Avery Label Systems (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. and Ganda Klasik Sdn. Bhd. respectively. Avery Label Systems was formed in 1990 through the amalgamation of the two large and successful businesses, the American-based Avery Dennison Corporation and Singapore-based Metal-Box Singapore. They both promote quality in their respective industries.
In 1992, their partnership was dissolved, and then existing management team formed AV, upon seeing the opportunity in the business. The new arrangement was for Avery Dennision Corporation to carry on the role as a licensee holder so that AV could be supported with technical and operational aspects of the label printing on a continuous basis until full transfer of skills and know-how is accomplished.
