In 2002 we had our factory, “B & N Garment” set up in Cambodia. After 12 years of establishment, we are now relocating our production facility to Yangon, Myanmar. The relocation is to seek for lower production cost and higher production efficiency. Our new factory, B & N Garment (Myanmar) Co. Ltd. is situated at the outskirt of Yangon, around 25minute drive from the Yangon International Airport. The factory has been in full operation since August 2013.
Our factory is a production facility occupies an area of 4000 sq meters. It is located in the Shew Pyi Thar Township of Yangon. There is convenient transportation for trucking container goods to and from the port of Yangon. With 20 years of experience in the garment industry, we are competent in manufacturing outerwear, sportswear, winter wear and casual apparel. We export mainly to Europe, Canada and USA.
The EU has announced in July last year the re-instate of generalized tariff preference (= exemption of duty) to Burma/Myanmar, which means all garments made in Myanmar importing to European countries are now duty free and quota free. Myanmar’s garment export has doubled the amount last year; more and more importers are looking to source from this country.
