Central Elastic Corporation Sdn. Berhad (or CEC as we are more popularly known as) was established in 1973, and is now one of the world’s largest and best manufacturers of rubber bands offering a wide range of high quality products for packaging, stationery, industrial, technical, fishery, agriculture, hobbies, sports and even household applications.
We are located on a 6.5-acre site within the strategic Prai Industrial Complex of Penang, Malaysia, and are efficiently linked to the Butterworth container wharves and the Penang International Airport for easy access to the world markets. Our products are manufactured and shipped locally to be exported to our holding company in Japan as well as to other markets worldwide.
CEC’s plant has a production capacity of 350 metric tons in rubber bands per month. Our production lines include both conventional and automated lines producing high-quality precision rubber bands for various applications. We are ISO Certified 9001 – 2015 as well as JIS Certification 2010 (Japan Industrial Standards). Besides manufacturing rubber bands & rubber products, CEC is capable of performing trading sales to complement our existing rubber band supply capabilities.
