EAU CLAIRE’s plant is located outskirt of Kedah State Forest Reserve away from any urban pollutants. Its sourse was chosen through intensive hydro-geological studies by French consultants. The Malaysian Ministry of Health, under the Food Act of 1983, strictly monitors the bottled water industry and specifies that bottled mineral water must be from a natural source that is at least 100 metres underground. There are only about a dozen operating natural mineral water bottling plants with approved sources of pure natural mineral water in Malaysia.
