On 01-09-1983, Business Department of Seaprodex was seperated from the company and formed as Special Aquatic Products Import Export  Company – SEASPIMEX VIETNAM . This event has shown a proof of successful development of SEASPRODEX as a whole and SEASPIMEX Vietnam in particular. Over the past 30 years of development, Seaspimex VIETNAM has contributed significantly to the Vietnam’s economic transformation. Not only has SEASPIMEX focused on trading and creating thousands of jobs but the company has also made tremendous contribution on social activities.

On November 1, 2002, Special Aquatic Products Joint Stock Company – SEASPIMEX VIETNAM was officially established and this is the first unit of SEASPRODEX which was  equitized with only 18% of State-owned capital. In 2008, following the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee’s relocation policy, the company has moved the company’s factories from 213 Hoa Binh, Hoa Thanh ward to the B23 / 63 Hoang Phan Thai Binh Chanh Commune, Binh Chanh District, HCMC .HCM. The new plant investment valued  VND 220 billion (in 2008) with the capacity of 15,000 tonnes / year and more than 1,000workers.

Company’s major activities includes sea and pork products’ production, processing and trading for the domestic and overseas markets with the strength on modern factory facilities. Over 30 years, SEASPIMEX brand has been widely recognized and favored by domestic consumer as well as overseas partner. Currently, SEASPIMEX products has been supplies throughout  domestic chains of supermarkets and stores nationwide.
