In 1995, TPC VINA Plastic and Chemical Corporation was established as a joint venture company with its headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In 1998, started operation as its state-of-the-art polyvinyl chloride production line with the initial capacity of 80,000 ton/year in factory in Dong Nai province, Vietnam. Over the years, the factory has improved the capacity of existing line and invested in 2nd production line which combined total capacity of 190,000 ton/year. TPC VINA is the pioneer in the petrochemical industry in Vietnam and, nowadays, operating the largest suspension polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant with total investment of USD 111.5 millions.

TPC VINA’s shareholders are Thai Plastic and Chemical Public Company Limited (TPC, 70%, Thailand), Vietnam Plastic Corpo-ration (VINAPLAST, 15%, Vietnam) and Vietnam National Chemi-cal Group (VINACHEM, 15%, Vietnam). Built on 24 hectares in Go Dau Industrial Zone, Phuoc Thai commune, Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province in Vietnam, the plant is operated by Distributed Control System (DCS) with the most advanced technologies and facilities for production with not only highly efficient but also with the highest quality standards.
