UACJ (Thailand) Co., Ltd. launched the first stage of its operations in January 2014 as the Southeast Asian production base of the UACJ Group. Following the completion of the second construction term in August 2015, the company began full-scale production as the largest aluminum sheet and plate rolling mill in Southeast Asia. It conducts integrated production of all processes commencing with remelting. In the years ahead, robust demand is expected in the Asian markets now undergoing exceptional growth. Furthermore, to respond to the needs of customers as their operations become increasingly globalized, we have taken the decision to invest in our third stage. Construction got underway in 2017 toward achieving production of 320,000 tons per year in 2019.
