Along with the development of the steel industry in Vietnam, in order to meet the demand for steel pipe in the country’s industrialization and modernization, the first steel pipe joint venture was established in 1993 with the name “Company Vietnam Steel Pipe – VINAPIPE “The company was established on the basis of a joint venture between Vietnam Steel Corporation (VNSteel) and leading Korean steel producer SeAh. Since its inception (Oct. 1994), Vinapipe has diversified its products to supply domestic and foreign markets with black, galvanized, square, rectangular steel pipes. Vinapipe’s products are always evaluated with the highest quality in Vietnam market today. Vinapipe has a hydraulic tester for water tightness testing, ensuring no leakage with a 50 bar (51 kgf / cm2) test pressure.
The steel pipe products manufactured by Vinapipe are being applied in accordance with British Standard BS 1387: 1985 with black and galvanized pipes; Korean standard KSD 3568: 1986 with square and rectangular steel pipe box.
