WHA Utilities and Power Public Company Limited (WHAUP) was established on 30 June 2008, previously named Hemaraj Clean Water Company Limited with a registered capital of THB 645 million, to produce and distribute industrial water for manufacturers in 4 Industrial Estates developed by WHA Industrial Development PLC. The Company possesses the exclusivity rights granted by WHA Industrial Development PLC. to operate water business in its industrial estates and industrial operation zones in Thailand. The Company currently operates water business in 7 WHA Industrial Development PLC. Industrial Estates and 2 industrial operation zones. The Company has also obtained the right of first refusal to invest in the gas pipeline business and waste management business in those industrial estates in Thailand.

The Company’s aggregate maximum industrial water production capacity in all industrial estates is 281,376 cubic meters per day, with an aggregate maximum wastewater treatment capacity in all industrial estates of 117,456 cubic meters per day. WHA Energy Company Limited, previously named “Hemaraj Energy Company Limited was incorporated in 2011 with registered capital of THB 100 million to invest in other companies engaging in power business. During these 5 years, the Company has jointly invested with specialized partners in conventional energy and Renewable Energy power generation businesses, both locally and abroad. As at 31 December 2017, the Company’s aggregate electricity generation capacity in proportion to its shareholding in the commercially operational power plants was 478.36 MW and an aggregate electricity generation capacity in proportion to its shareholding in the developing power plants was at 64.47 MW.
